Dear Colleagues,

Are you a healthcare consumer or patient who identifies as Asian American?  Or are you a provider or gatekeeper serving Asian American communities – for example, a healthcare provider, researcher or librarian, faith-based leader, community leader, service provider, or ethnic media reporter?  If yes, please take 10-15 minutes of your time to complete an important needs assessment survey on how you access health information to serve your own and your communities’ health needs.  Your responses to this survey will help the National Library of Medicine to improve upon the way they compile and disseminate Asian American health information to ultimately reduce health disparities among Asian Americans.  This is an important opportunity to provide much needed insight into the health information, research, and resource needs of the Asian American communities and organizations we collectively serve.  The first 100 people to complete this survey will receive a $25 Amazon gift card.

The survey should take no more than 15 minutes to complete and can be accessed here (

Please note that this survey is asking only about Asian American health information. The National Library of Medicine is conducting a separate needs assessment on Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander health information.

If you have any questions about this survey please don’t hesitate to contact [email protected].

Kind Regards,
Rebecca Park
